We carry synthetic LiquiMoly for most makes and models. We recommend an oil change appointment every 5K miles with this oil. 

Your engine air filter keeps the engine clean which keeps good fuel economy and extends the life of the engine. This should be replaced at minimum once a year. If you drive regularly on dirt roads, you may consider replacing this more frequently. The cabin air filter cleans the air inside your cabin. No one wants to breathe in some one else's dead skin cells. If you suffer from allergies, change this filter RIGHT before allergy season. We recommend changing this filter once a year. Rotating your tires every 6K miles can help you catch auto repair needs before they become super urgent. Your tire wear indicates suspension health. You could wear your tires out faster on the inner or outer edges, you could wear the center tread out and leave the edges. Choppy tires can indicate shock failure. We can check a lot of fluids during your oil change, but if you need a more comprehensive look, let us know!  Just like your engine oil, all your other car / truck fluids needs to be replaced on a regular basis. (Just not nearly as often). Brake fluid should be done every 2 years, coolant should be done every 3-5 years depending on severity of your driving habits. Transmission, Transfer Case, and Differential fluids vary based on the vehicle. Some require replacement every 30K miles whilst others can go much longer. Replacing your vehicle fluids timely can help you avoid expensive auto repairs like transmission replacements, differential replacements, etc. 

Plugs create a spark to burn the gas which provides combustion. Over time, they wear out. These need to be replaced between 30K for some newer Honda's and 100K for GMs etc. You can easily find the information for your specific vehicle online or in your owner's manual. Failing to replace spark plugs timely can result in lowered fuel economy, premature catalytic converter failure, and engine driveability issues (misfires). We recommend changing these every 3-5 years. Timely maintenance reduces auto repairs from break downs and it reduces what you'll pay in computer diagnostics too. Many expensive repairs we see are a direct result of a missed maintenance item. 

For YOUR protection, get an inspection BEFORE you buy a used car! The basic inspection is $70. If you want us to pull fluid samples to see if there is metal content - that runs $125. Most people don't sell perfectly great running cars. Typically a driver gets an expensive repair bill or the car is due for some large service and the owner decides to trade it off instead of repairing it. Diagnosing a vehicle begins with a visit to the car doctor. We'll run some tests within this period. Cooling system repairs include things like water pumps, thermostats, hoses, pipes, gaskets of all sorts, antifreeze, sensors, expansion tanks, radiators, heater core, etc. Some common symptoms of a problem in this system are: water leaking under the car, steam from engine bay, sweet smell, water in the passenger floor board, overheating message, air conditioning not working properly, heater not working properly, etc.
